New Resorts, LLC began in 2004 under the direction of David O'Connell, with Doug Clayton as Broker-In Charge. In 2004, the oceanfront pre-construction market was booming. The first project that the company took on handling both sales and marketing was the Prince Resort. New Resorts successfully sold this project out in less than one week and then moved forward to take on several other projects for oceanfront developers.For the next two years, New Resorts sold over $250 million in oceanfront property.
In the third year, New Resorts decided the time was right to make some changes to the business plan and evolve with the Myrtle Beach real estate market. They geared up to lead the way in the general real estate market. Kimberly Willis-Smith took over as Sales Director in September of 2007. Kimberly has proven to be a multi-million dollar producer with over 6 years experience in Real Estate.
Arnetta Cline, the Administrative Director, is in charge of all contracting, listing and accounting aspects of New Resorts. She works very closely with Kimberly in the day-to-day operations of the company.
New Resorts currently has over $14 million dollars in real estate offerings along the Grand Strand. These include land, townhomes, condominiums on and off the oceanfront and residential homes.
